We haven't talked about it yet this year, so. . .

Any upgrades over the winter?

Goals for the 2009 season?

I'll start.

Winter:
Get the LS1/T56 into the '82 Berlinetta finished. Hope to race it in the Stick Shift class at Bandimere. First race April 26th, I'm about to get the engine stabbed, hopefully this weekend.

For the '57, I need to re-do the rear end spring perches to get the pinion angle right. Instead of -1 degree, it's more like +5. It either was never right (I wasn't too sophisticated when I welded it up 11 years ago), or the pumpkin has twisted in the axles (won't be doing that again if it did, as the tubes have now been welded). Also have an electric water pump and bottle heater I'd like to get installed, and put a switch in the 2-step trigger line (currently tied to the brake light switch) to isolate it when not needed. First race April 24th.

Goals:
- I want to run in two different classes that I haven't run in before, the aforementioned Stick Shift class, and "King Street" - mufflers, plates, registration, insurance, no decals/lettering on paint, 12.75 sec or quicker (at 5800' elevation) - I have to spray to get it under that.
- Make the track team for the NHRA Summit ET Div V Finals team while only running in one qualifying class, on Friday evenings, from which they take fewer racers (3) than any of the other classes for their 36-member team.

-Get dyno tune for the ole LT1
-Install N20 kit
-Get decent tires out back
-Continue to clean up engine bay

If engine blows, rebuild it.
When the rear blows, not sure what I will do. Most likely throw a stocker back in or repair it.

Maybe some window tinting and other appearance modifications here and there.

I decided to go with a new torque converter for the '57, a 4000 stall Hughes HD. I've had some consistency issues the past couple of seasons, typically 60' related and not traction related. I'm sure the nitrous use last year didn't do the Boss Hog converter any good, either. Hopefully this will straighten things out.

The LS1/T56 are bolted in the Camaro. Now a bunch of hook-up and other details to handle. Wiring, finish the fuel system hook-up, finish mounting the rear and get the PBR brakes installed, get the gauges installed and hooked up - still a pretty long list.
