LT1 in a 89 Bird

Sup guys. I was just looking into possible swaps for my 89 firebird, its got the 2.8 L V6 in there right now, but the thing is totally shot, i basically bought the shell for $450. My question is this, is the LT1 a bolt on swap or is there any modification needed? My plan is to use the LT1 with the t56 tranny. I usually build up tuners, but that got boring and I decided a lil muscle is just what the doctor ordered.

I honestly would just go with a standard Gen I SBC rather than an LT1
