Who has the best fit k members? I have heard a few people say that for lt1's a few holes didnt line up. Also who makes the lightest.

sure u want to get an aftermarket K member? not the best thing for a street car. some ppl have had them break on them. and many report the front end feels looser

Depends on what you're buying. I'd run a mild steel on the street, and as long as you have everything bolted down tight and adjustable A-arms adjusted to where they're supposed to be, nothing should change about your steering except there's less weight on top of the wheels so it'd be easier to turn the wheel.
Chromoly on the street = broken.
As far as sponsors, I'm not sure who I'd personally go with. Folks that have them, post up your opinions!

I don't have one yet. But I've heard good things about PA and BMR's k-members as well as UMI's A-Arms.

BMR's K members have been breaking on road racing cars.
Take that FWIW but if the car's going to see any serious suspension loading I'd stick with the stocker. Its not worth 30 lbs to have the K member break.

I wouldn't swap a k-member on an AutoX or road race car anyways. Like you said, it's not worth it. It's a worthwhile swap on drag cars and that's about it.

gotcha, I read breaking and assumed street use to/from/between 1/4 visits.
Sometimes I forget that not everybody drag races (doh) :)

We will be releasing our K-member in spring of 2006.
I will post up more information as I have it available.
Thank you,
Ryan
