Dumb Honda dealership...

My mom took our '04 Accord 4cyl back to the dealer because of a sulfur smell. The people at honda replaced the catalayic converter, and it still smells like rotten egg when starting the car. I was thinking it might be a defective fuel pressure regulator. What do ya'll think?

Are you certain they replaced the cat? If so, are there more than one on the Accords? I wouldn't think that a cat would go bad that quickly on an '04.

Also, is the HVAC system running when she starts the car? IF your car sat on the dealer's lot for an extended period of time before she bought it, the filter may need to be replaced or the entire sysytem deoderized.

change your gas...lexus cars are having the same problem..they also are changing cats and it helps a little but the problem is the amount of sulfer in the gasoline you're using..switch brands
