AI CNC 241 heads (available from Herron Performance), Fast 90/90 (unported), Comp pro mag 1.85 rockuhz, Mezaire water pump, Kook's LT's, Bassani Catback, ASP underdrive pulley,MSD wires, NGK plugs, Exedy clutch, Mobil 1 throughout the car.

Russ's comments when asked about the car and his route and goals:
The things I tried to focus on with my car was getting the most power without the usual trade off's. I wanted to keep spring longevity but not running an aggressive cam, or in this instance no aftermarket cam at all and still wanted PERFECT driveability. I've had big lopey cams in the past in other cars and I didnt want it this time. I didnt want to rely on an rpm driven cam, one that revs to the moon but doesnt make power down low for shit, and I think I've sucessfully achieved my goal.

NOTE: 429 is with belt OFF, belt is worth 10HP.

Hey I've always wanted to ask you, what did your LT1 go stock?
I have a 95 A4 that went 13.89 @ 99 with a K&N filter, Mobil 1 oil and new 245/50's Goodyear GT II's.

Nice numbers on the LS1 too!

The 97 w/LT1 and the following mods: CAI, B&M Ripper Shifter, TF Elbow, Herron Performance Tune, rear bump support removed, 17" SS Chrome rims on all fours with street tires ripped a 13.5 @ 103+. When it did that I knew the car would be fast.
