Looking for a little help with gauges on a ls1 swap. I'm one of those old guys that thinks a hei distributor is new age electronics. I have the engine in and running great but I don't have temp and oil pressure gauges in yet and I'm little nervous to run it very long until I can monitor the engine. I'm not sure the fans are working right because they have not come on yet after about 5 mins. of running. How is the best way to hookup electric oil and temp gauges? Do they run off the computer or what. I feel I can't remove the stock sending units from the temp because I think it should control the fans. And the oil pressure do I remove the sending unit try a mechanical. I already have the elelectric oil pressure gauge. My gauges are all auto meter. My next gauges are speedo and tachometer any help would be appreciated. John
