is there a particular reason for this or did they change something about the car and the other years are much better? i heard about the optispark and if it gets moisture then it will mess up.. but is there anything else a guy should be aware of who is going to buy one? the one i am looking at is a 94 formula, lt1, auto, with 53,000 miles, car is immacualte,, nobody ever sat in the back seat, it is owned by an elderly gentleman and took amazing care of the car, he recently replaced the optispark system with a 2500$ aftermarket unit of some sort i will have to find out. thanks for your help, plz reply

No vented opti...and if im not mistaken in 94 they are speed density. Not really anything to worry about except the no vented opti, but you should be fine.

93's are Speed Density. IIRC 94's had the MAF's.

I used to work in a dealership when the 93s were new and the body style change did not inpress people at that time. Overall 93-97 did not outwardly change much.
