That's vastly cheaper than some were predicting. $31K starting price for the SS is not bad at all.

yup and thats including a $750.00 transportation fee. so its closer to 30k. but thats for the base model SS. the thing to keep in mind is that with taxes and whatnot added in it will go up a lil. and depending on the preferred options it will raise the price as well.
and as ive told a lot of people who think the price is too high and no one will be able to afford it..... we've known about this car for 2 years now. if you are waiting untill now to start saving for it, you are retarded. ive been putting a lil away here and there to buy my SS after I get married next year. i imagine my decently optioned SS/RS will run me around 38k after taxes and everything. but i will have a few options as well.

not feasable with the design of the car.

Once you include SLP costs, you could buy a nice BW3;)

Figure close to 40K w/SLP, ALTHOUGH costs haven't been released yet from SLP! Let's just say $4999 was the BASE SLP cost for the Firehawk w/o any options back in 2002.
G8 w/o SLP runs $27-29K

As far as I know SLP isn't going to have anything to do with the new Camaro. I'm sure they'll sell parts but in terms of them having involvement with the factory/OEM offerings, that is a dead concept.

Kind of funny because I believe the V6 camaro will be 300 HP!

The new camaro comes with one heck of a V6, I'd be pretty darn happy with that. 300hp Isn't exactly to be laughed at. And its just kick ass that the 6 cylinder Camaro puts out the same power as the V8 mustang...
