Went to the track the other day and I could not get this car of mine to get any traction even though I do have 10" M/T E/T street radials with a big ass burn out and only dumping at 3500-4000? I do have OEM suspension but its only a bolt on car on a prepped drag strip so it should hold it I would think.
Only got in 2 runs but the 4k launch was a 3.5 60ft and the 3.5k launch was a 2.4 both were in the low 14's but I was trapping 101-105.
Tips, secrets, or just what have you done with a M6 would be a help.

how long are you burning out for?
how hard are you dumping the clutch? you might have to slide into it on the launch then as soon as you know you are moving drop the hammer

I sort have the clutch out just enough to feel it want to grab a while holding the brake, the last yellow I take my foot off the clutch and brake and as soon as I feel the car go back I floor it.
I saw a video of one of my runs (still waiting to get it) and I watch the front suspension unload completely and as soon as the nose dropped the rear tires broke loose. So maybe I should pick me up some 90/10's struts for the front?

It wont hold it, b/c the suspension is moving around too much, flexing.
BO car can be launched at 6000-6500 with 4.33s if the suspension is right :D

Well I guess we need to get together on this :D. As soon as the snow flies the TA will be getting torn down and more drag strip friendly parts will be going in it. Adjustable or non what do you guys think for a 450-500 rwhp 4th gen F-body.

I like adjustable if you are willing to put the time into making sure it is set up right.

The LT1 set up was K-member, A-arms and QA1 12 ways with 275# springs.
Now with the LS1 I have stock K and As with QA1 Rs and 275# springs.
