I heard nothing but negitive comments from all my buddies that went down. Too un organized, too much talking, too long of tech lines, too long of everything but racing. Glad I didn't go.

Only good comment I had was the jet pack guy was pretty cool

I will however be down this comeing weekend for club clash and all star chevy weekend, I am bringing my tent down and just camping out.

If you kept in mind that it was a television set, it was all tolerable.

Most of the weekend was run by the Bandimere crew, so that made it go a lot smoother. I was relatively early through the tech line (parked outside the gate Wednesday evening), so I can't complain there.

I was in the staging lanes and didn't see much of the jet pack guy. That stuff was all fluff to me.

There was a lot of sitting around, that's true. But, see Paragraph 1 above. I wouldn't equate that with unorganized. Pit space was at a premium because of vendors and taking the part east of the staging lanes for crew & VIP parking, but there were 460+ cars out there, plus the exhibition cars. There wasn't any more talking than there is for the Mile High Nationals. In fact, that's what it was most like, sans nitro.

Sorry they were bummed out. Overall, I had a good time.

What are you bringing to Club Clash and the Chevy weekend? I'll have the '57 and Camaro there.

Ya, I am not much for fluff either. Glad you had a good time but like I said, concensus amungst a majority of my buddies was nobody will do it again.

Bringin my camaro, My 71 SS El camino is down for the count with a rear main seal leak at the moment.

Trying to dial in the new set up in the 'Maro (I really need to hit a test and tune night). Should be in the 12's with some tire pressure and launch rpm tweaking. Only ran it once this year so far. 13.1 @ 109mph. Made it to 3rd round in a club clash event. 2nd time racing in 15 years. LOL. Used to run a lot back in the late 80's and early 90's with my 64 nova. Getting the "Itch" again

I'll look for your 57 but I am sure it will be a zoo

Later Jason

I'll try to keep an eye out for you as well. We usually pit on the south end by the entrance to the staging lanes.
