edelbrock intake(#2104) and carb (1406)

jegs fuel pressure reg (#15911)
the problem i am having is flooding - the carb is over flowing with gas. i am heading into my third carb because my mechanic said this should not be happening. please help me!!!!!!!

Jegs regulator what is it set at? What pump are you using? Are the floats stuck? You are not trying to use the TPI pump are you?

Do you have a pressure gauge on the regulator outlet?
Personally, I don't think Edelbrock carbs are worth the box they come in, but it shouldn't be doing that if the pressure is correct. 3 carbs is a pretty good indication it ain't the carb causing the problem.
I suspect you don't have something right with your regulator set-up.

at the regulator the pressure is set to 5psi and i am getting ready to set up an inline pressure gauge test from reg to carb. i have been told a number of things such as : change out the fuel pump, to, the computer is the problem, to, i have something configure incorrectly. i have checked the setup a number of times and feel confident that things are correct.

The only pressure you need to be interested in is the inlet to the carb. The inlet to the regulator and return line pressure are irrelevant.
I suspect you're looking at the pressure on the return line, but hard to say without seeing it.
