Hey everyone. The front bumper on my T/A has seen better days. Its cracked in one spot from the bottom to the fog light area. The paint is also chipping. I went to a reputable body shop in my area and the guy says he wants to guarantee all the work he does, but fixing this may not come out well. So i figure, might as well get a nice new one.

Where do you guys suggest I should get one from, besides junk yard? I checked a few GM parts sites and their charging around $440 for it, new of course. Thanks.

your best bet would probably be eBay.

I know, but no one is selling a 93-97 bumper. There a few 98-02 ones tho.

Nice, but i cant find any place that sells them. Do you know of a store that carries them?

Converting to a 98 front end would be awesome. But i would have to buy a hood, headlights, bumper reinforcement, brackets, etc. It adds up, lol

i'm in the same boat as you man, any time i do find someone willing to part out a front bumper in good condition they're always 500 miles away! i'm pretty interested in the aftermarket suggestion... would be great to see some sites.

hmm, they want 300 for a used bumper cover and 550 for a new one. Seems a bit steep.

Check your local u-pull-it yards. Most f-bodies are picked over pretty quick but that's something I've seen a lot of. Now if I could just find a driver's side door hinge that isn't worn out....
