Im trying to build a big block for my 84 monte carlo ss. The block im starting with is a 396 bored .030 and stock heads I believe. I bought a 97 tbi system off of a 454 marine engine. It is a stand alone system and came complete with intake, distributor, harness, fuel pump, and all sensors. I want to know if any of you engine building gurus out there would know if the intake will bolt up to the 396 heads or if I sould get the 454 heads and put them on the 396? Can anyone help?
