Power lock problem

My power locks don't unlock my doors. They work when I lock them, even though they squeak a lot, but if I hit unlock, they try to move but don't do anything. If I try to unlock them with the remote, the light on the inside of the car turns on and the locks make a noise but they don't unlock.

sounds like the lock motors are getting worn out.
