Hello everyone, I know this being a performance oriented forum tons of people have probably done this but I cannot find a thread after doing several searches that discusses in detail putting a floor mounted shifter in place of the column mounted piece in a Caprice (1995). I really like the feel of floor mounted shifters better and it feels more natural when shifting the transmission manually. So basically I just need to know what type of shifter to use, model and if it's cable operated which I'm assuming or uses linkages and if there are other parts needed besides a floor shifter kit from like summit or jegs etc... also how long of a cable is best as to not get kinks etc... Thanks to everyone.
