Question for Chris...or any 'puter tech wiz

I see some guys have larger images as their sig pic. Mine is in ok but because of the file type I'm using (whatever that is) I can only be 500 x 100. How do I change the file type that will allow me to post a slightly larger pic in my sig like everyone else. The pic is alot darker and it's hard to make out. If I need to send it to someone for resizing wizardry, please let me know. I'll be more than happy.

Yeah you'll have to edit it in some kind of photo program and save it as a different file type. .gif is going to be the smallest, but its also not going to have the quality of a jpeg file.

Thanks. Looks like I'm stuck with it then cause I don't have a clue what your'e talking about...lol. Maybe TAman can work his majic sooner or later.
