tire suggestions

i'm gonna need some new tires soon. at least in the front anyway. i'm open to suggestions. i've been thinking the GS-D3's or KDW's.

along the side, i have 2 extra rims sitting in my basement. what kind of dr's should i get for those? nittos or mickey t's?

If the DRs will be track only then definitely the MTs, if they will be on the street some then go Nitto.

hard to beat the KDWs, though if there is chance the car will see snow, the KDWS are great too.

dr's will most likely be track only.

there's about a $50 difference between the kdw's and gsd3's on tirerack. i like the kdw's but i want to try the gsd3's.

GS-D3's are hailed as the best decent weather tire for our cars. The KDWS's are the best all season tire.

well, think i'm going to go with the GS-D3's then. the SS is rarely driven when it's snowing outside.

what about the dr's now? has anyone tried the new nitto dr yet? i think it's the nt-01 or something like that?

Just stick with the 555R's. They're proven.

the nt01 is the road race tire. a guy on Corvettekillstories is running them and he says theyre great. but i think theyre pretty expensive and wear out quickly. i have the 555r's and im happy w/ those
