Hi all.....I have this misfire, stumble issue. If I don't drive the car every day. it seems to develop a misfire. If I let it sit for 3 or 4 days, it runs terrible after about 3 minutes running time. If I continue to drive it every day thereafter, it eventually clears up. This time I didnt drive for for almost a week and today after running a few minutes it really started running like crap. What can make it do this? To run crappy, and eventually clear itself up after a few days of driving like that?

Bad plugs, wires, fuel filter, O2's, opti, coil.

does it throw a code? if so is it a missfire code? if its a missfire code is it on all cylinders or just certain one(s)? if just a couple or 1 it could also be a cloged injector issue.
had a very similar problem with an s-10 a couple years back. with a cylinder 1 misfire turned out that injector was crap.

As said above, check for codes, that's how you might be able to narrow it down. How's your fuel pressure? Check and replace if needed in this order:
Plugs and wires
Coil
Opti
ICM
I'm guessing it'll be the most expensive and most aggrivating to replace on the list of "general maintenance parts" I'm guessing your water pump bearing is gone so coolant is weeping out of the water pump weep hole and it drips on the opti and the longer it sits the worse it gets. So...i'm saying just out of an educated guess that you're going to need a water pump and opti. But of course diagnose the problem, but thats where i'd begin is to look for any dripping coolant off the water pump.

pull your plugs and see whats goin on ..... kind of narrow it down a little , as in is the probem with just 1 cylender or all ........ could be anything from a cracked plug , bad wire etc etc etc ............. people can only throw opinions or guestimations at you ........... the truth lies within :D

Well.... I've pulled the plugs...seems to look ok....looked for the "light show"...nuthing..took a look at the water pump and opti...nothing leaking that I can see at all......although that one seemed the best idea yet...makes sense to what the car is doing anyhow...
