I hurt my LT1 with 141k on the motor. It's comming out and i will need all the goodies. Cam, bearings, pistons ect. luckly the heads have been redone. I was looking at the LT4 hot cam kit. but i dont believe it is enough power for me. But i'm on a budget. bad thing to be on when rebuilding. and HELP from you guys would be great with parts and prices. I see Summit has a kit with bearings, gaskets, pistons, rings for 499. or 589. forged. but i still need timing chain, oil pump, headers, y pipe, cat back, probable lifters.

I'm liking the cc503 cam. Were am i gonna lose fuel miliage? i would like to stay above 20 on the hwy. I have no emisions to pass.
i have a 94 Z-28 LT1, 4L60E, with 2.73's. gears and converter I'm not worried about at this time. I can swap them later.
HELP IF YOU WOULD.... Thanks guys. Curt (Lincoln, Ne)

rebuilding my LT1 94 and need parts help!!
You can start with a basic LT1 Rebuild Kit (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=FEM%2DCSMHP765%2D000&autoview=sku).

And you can get a stock timing chain from a GM Dealership.
