i want to put a manual in 1995 Z28 But i want a 4 speed will it work want do i need to make it work.

If the bolt pattern for the bellhousing matches up then I don't see why not. I'm sure someone makes a bellhousing that would allow the swap. Might have trouble getting the shifter where you want it though.

Considering the LT1 uses the same bellhousing pattern as all traditional small block Chevys, it should bolt right up.

yes but you will need a hydrolic bellhousing to fit the 4 speed and pedals of of a 4th gen and modiacations to the cross member

why would you go backwards ??? :dontknow:
the T-56 tranny is one of the best manual trannys that gm has made, slappng the viper internals makes them pretty much bullet proof(taken deep in the nines)
the first 4 gears are close ratio (just like the 4 speed) but on top of that you get 2 over drives to get you to and from the track....
T-56 > 4speed
