I haven't bought one yet, but how do you hook up a tach in a computer controlled car? It was always easy on the old points & HEI distributors, but methinks it's a little different now.....94 roadmaster

lol, I am almost 100% in the dark about paint and body. Ironically, I have everything I would ever need to do body work, or paint a car. File board, D/A sander, Dremel looking air powered sander, pressure fed paint gun, sifen fed paint gun, big air compressor that can keep up with the PSI require ments, mig welder for body welding... I even started the body work on a 1968 AMC Javelin... but that was 5 years ago, and I have not touched it since. Poor thing. My grandpa painted more than a few cars in his day, so I got all of his old stuff.

Hey, don't worry about it, you are welcome. I am more than happy to help a fellow B-body guy. Buickforums has some guys that know more about certain areas than myself. There's one guy on there, who has about $30,000 invested in his car... Truly amazing car. and just now, he said he is putting another 5 grand into it with a turbo kit. :D

man, a lot of guys would probably like to get ahold of some of your grandpa's body tools. speaking as someone in the trade, the oldies are usually the goodies(especially the blocks and long files) the old spray guns are super cool,too....unfortunately, also really illegal up here in canada eh!

can't remember the guy's name right now, but I know the car your talking about. beautiful ride. mine's gonna stay a daily driver for the forseeable future, so getting it that nice won't happen. that said, once I'm done painting my GTO, I think the smasher is next for body&paint. I'm thinking flames and a bunch of airbrushing. people look at you wierd when you drive around in the snow & salt in something with a fancy custom paint job!

thanks again! Jay
