I was running a 125 shot on stock internals, no problems. I have my bottle mounted in the spare tire well.

ive heard of people spraying 125 on a stock motor consistantly with no problems
how big of a bottle, 10 lbs. fits in the spare tire spot, and ive heard that a 2 1/2 lbs. bottle will fit under the sail-panel speaker with room to put the speaker back in

The bottle I have mounted in my spare tire well is a 15lb bottle, got to work a little bit to get it to fit perfect but it does fit.

ya i didnt think of that, does it fit with the spare in too? and should i just bring it to a shop and the the whole kit installed or should i do it myself? i have been working on sbc's for years now but nothin with nitrous.

No you want be able to fit both the spare and the bottle in there. If you have any mechanical know how I would just install it yourself. I had never delt with nitrous intill I installed my kit and I'm glad I did it myself.

if your lookin for a stealth setup, and can afford another rim to cut up, you can fit 2 10 lb bottles hidden. you get the extra spare tie and cut about 1/3 out of it (and the tire), maybe a little more. then you install the bottles and lines and put the tire cover back over.
i have pics if you want em i dunno how to host them. if ive learned anything from street racing is how to make a complete sleeper.

oh hell ya im all about sleepers. the only thing that might give it away is the SLP Loudmouth.... but probably not if u figure out how to post a pic i would like to see how u have it done.

If you have a hatch you simply cut the bottom out of a plastic tool box and set it over your nitrous setup!

i never look for the bottle anyways... i look for the lines ;)
nitrouse HAS to get in the intake (unless direct port) there is only a few places to hide em

that is sweet snakeoilperformance..
my idea was to get a sub box for where the T tops are at, and put it under the T tops... and I thought I was the only one that was going to use the defrost as the arm :)

lol... iseen that video on the net that you shown... great stuff... lol
If i had a LS1... and the racing was as big here as there... i would hide the bottles in the front bumper... and use the "Money Maker" kit.. completly stealth and hidden. There is no way in hell they would know you are on the bottle.
here it is... adjustable from 35-300 hp... and cost is $800.. i believe it is direct port too.

Around here hoods dont raise before a race and rarely afterward .. "Run what ya brung and hope ya brung enough" To answer the question ive seen 200 shots run seriously and back to 125's when ya know it wont be needed .. but never seen or heard of anyone so crazy n full of money to spray 250 on stock internals

Looks good, but you'd need a new place for the bottle. Front bumper is old news to us. :roflmao:
But as long as the lines are 100 hidden, you might be okay.

haha i just had a random thought go through my head, how badass would that be to have the purge hooked up to the horn then arm you alarm so it purges when u lock the car?

that would be so useless, but funny as hell

one more question too, how big of a cloud exatly is a purge, i have seen them, but from a ways away, didnt give any perspective
loudmouthzls1
04-08-2006, 03:07 AM
depends on the size of the solenoid for the purge...mine is huge...cause i wanted it like that hehe
ihaterice
04-10-2006, 01:23 PM
ok, so just get a big solenoid and ill have a big cloud?

yeah... have a huge valve and big line running to where you want it to purge from. Makes for good times.

I think i want my purge coming out my ram air, can that be done easily? i think i red cloud would look pretty cool comin out the ss hood, what do yall think?

What's the safest kit to spray a 125 shot on a 60,000mi. LS1. and should that knock a second off of my times.
LiquidFire350
04-28-2006, 01:02 AM
as long as they are set up correctly, all should be safe. i personally like the TNT power ring
the general concensis that ive gathered is, up to 100(and thats pushing it) a dry shot is fine, 100+ use a wet kit. reason being that MAF can't tell the computer to kick the fuel up enough

You are basicly right on with this one. Those "through the MAF" dry systems are limited by your injector pulse width. after a little over 100 HP they basicly run out of available fuel unless you crank the fuel pressure up, add bigger injectors, or tune for it.
Id say go with a wet kit. There are plenty of great quality kits out there right now that should give you no problems at all on a "street shot"
