the LS1 heads are stock 241 casting 38,000 miles ready to bolt on.

the old school chevy builders are some old 283 power pack heads, They are complete but need to be gone through.

Do you know if the intake will bolt to a 5.3 truck motor?

I really am not sure. I would say yes since the 5.3 Heads are interchangeable with the LS1. But you might have to do the reasearch. I know a lot of guys with silverados wanted my LS1 cam. They said with an adjustable timeing chain and advanceing the cam 4 Degrees. They see a 35-40 hp gain with a stock LS1 cam.
