Hey does anyone know of a shop in New Jersey that will pass you emissions wise no matter what? I am not sure whether this is legal to discuss and if it inst no problem remove it.

I doubt you will get any worthwhile responses. Though its not illegal to discuss such things, to mention any such shop by name would most likely result in said shop's rapid demise.
You are looking for information that comes from word of mouth, in other words "you gotta know a guy that knows a guy....."

A better way to discuss this would be to list your concerns, failing emissions results or anything else that would give more information on what you are trying to do.
Post up what your problem is and you're bound to get more responses.

And it would probably be a question better suited for one of the tech sections.

Well thats what I had figured but I am going to do head/cam swap later this spring but will need to pass emissions some time so I am just doing a bit of research before hand.

Depending on the size of the cam, you can get by, especially w/a tune.

NJ is a real BIT.... from what I understand. Try contacting someone on the NJ F-body boards is my best recomendation. I can only speak for DE.

Ahh ok, the heads will not have much if any effect on emissions. The choice of cam however will impact emissions. There are too many cams to try and guess what you are going to use. My suggestion would be to contact a few of the cam vendors and tell them what you are trying to achieve and talk to a few tuning shops in your area / state to see what they know works and still passes the test.

This is one of those things that are hard to find, but does any one know of a restrictive flow, and high cleaning ability catalytic converter? I know I know wtf but any ideas?

Several people told me that they run there vehicles at LEAST 30 minutes prior to inspection to blow out those carbon emissions (buildup), but I don't know how effective that would be w/a big cam.

There may also be some additives that can be used, but I don't know for sure. Just hear-say!

Random Technology has very good aftermarket catalytic converters.
They are clean enough for use in California and flow better than stock and most other aftermarket cats.

Here is a thread where I posted a list of several things to do before testing to minimize your emissions levels.
