I would like to debadge my car whats the trick to not break my badges and to not leave TOO much residue. Then how do i get that shit off?

Werd!!! Dental floss then a little fine rubbing compound is what I used on the TA to remove the badges.

fishing line will work too.
Goo Gone is a nice product for removing the adhesive.

Not too much left to add here. Use a hair dryer or heat gun on low to heat the badges up. This will melt the adhesive a bit. Then some floss or fishing line will get the badges off. After that some goo gone will take away any residue.

Heat and fishing line. Then remove any leftover adhesive with 3m adhesive remover or wd40 might work also. Body shops do this all the time.

Lighter fluid (naptha) works, and is also routinely used on finishes of expensive acoustic guitars.
I've used it to take off the dealer's name from 3 different vehicles, it cleans up the residue and evaporates quickly.
