$500 for coated LTs and y-pipe, reasonable deal

2/3 pics show a squared off dent on the driver's side of the y. Looks like it was done for a reason, but if you've worked with this y pipe before let me know if its out of the ordinary

i know if you have a dent on your headers, youre exhaust makes sounds. not sure with a y-pipe

thats how it's suposed to be . there's a piece of the under body braceing it has to go by

Good deal if you bought them new from a parts dealer somewhere. I think Summit wants like $570 for everything.

The flat part on the y-pipe is there so the pipe can clear a brace on the underside of the car. Matter fact you may have problems with the y pipe bumping the underside where the flat is. Folded header wrap wedged between the y pipe and brace with hose clamps to keep it in will solve the problem.

BTW - did the headers come with caps on the AIR inlets or did you order the caps from somewhere?? I'm looking for something like those for mine.

Yeah $500 new from Herron Performance, was impressed by price and also got them three days after order w/ free shipping. Glad to hear the y pipe is normal. The yellow caps came on the end of the collector of each header, I didn't order them special. Overall very happy with the order. Now I just gotta install them :devil:

Very nice! I just got mine as well for 500 except through byunspeed. I'm going to drop the subframe though for the headers, cam and to clean up everything.
