I just purchased a 88 Formula TPI 350 with ceramic coated edelbrock headers on it. I own about 10 of these cars but I don't have much header experiance on finding parts. My question is about the Y pipe. It has a big hole in it and I am sure it came with the headers from edelbrock. Where would I go about getting the Y pipe replacement? About how much do they run? Would it be cheaper and easier to have someone make a new one? Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, your choices are:
1) Buy a new set of headers with y-pipe (I'd recommend going to Hooker 2055HKR if you do that).
2) Have an exhaust shop (not a "muffler shop") repair the existing y-pipe, or fabricate a new y-pipe.

Reports are Edelbrock used to sell the y-pipe separately, but they no longer do that.
