I bought a cc305 cam for my 355 rebuild and now Im kind of wishing I would have got the cc503. Is the difference in the cams worth the trouble
of buying another cam and selling the 305 that I have? I have double valve springs, new lifters, pushrods, etc., and ported stock heads. Will the cc305 give me good power?

Yes.....a 305 will yield good power......but the 503 would be a stronger performer.
The 114 LSA for the 305 is better suited for blower applications than for NA engines. The 305's 114 LSA will produce less peak power than the 503, which has a tighter (112) LSA and a bit more duration.
BUT.....if this car is your daily driver and all-out power is not the only priority....then you might be happy with the 503. It has less valve overlap and should have better street manners.....and yield slightly better gas mileage.
FWIW.

503 it, with your mods you won't regret it. I'm running a 503 with similar mods and love it. Sorry, no dyno numbers yet. Got a couple of things (tranny/Yank stall) to take care of first.
hate to say it but i'd toss the double valve springs for a set of PAC's. No need for that much spring with either a 503 or a 305.
