I want to put in a trunk kit in my 95 SS, mostly to protect the quarters, but also to clean up the look of the trunk too, however i do not want to buy the kit the ssuperstore offers for $500, I would rather build it myself. Has anyone built this kit rather than buy it? If so do you still have the measurements? Was it a pita? What is the best material to build from? Anything better than plywood with carpet over it?
