Hey guys, for some reason I'm having Throttle Position issues...
I was re-looking my HPT logs tonight and I noticed that on every WOT run I only get about 85% TPS. I know my floor mat wasn't in the way and I'm on my way outside now to double-check for anything that might catch on the throttle action under the hood at all, but I'm pretty sure it was clear the last time I opened the hood. I think this could account for my dismal 1/4mi times and low dyno #'s, too.
Do ya'll have any fix suggestions?
Thanks!

ok, I went out and checked the physical travel of the throttle and it's only opening about 85%. This would explain a whole lot...
Is there any way to adjust this? It's about 15 to 20% of the way from hitting the bump-stop on the throttle-body itself so I think grinding that would be somewhat useless at this point.
How do you adjust the throttle cable?

Ok, I found the procedure to adjust the throttle cable (and I'm retarded for not knowing it, lol). I'll do a write-up with a picture this week so ya'll other LS1 guys that are having issues meeting your goals can check ya'lls out (I can't believe I ran a 13.004 at 3/4 throttle, haha)

Its happened to two friends on new setups. One friend was getting part throttle on his 406 and ran 12.50 on his first pass and 11.60s after than. Another friend went from 14.80 to 14.40.
Hopefully you can pick up a whack to power. Did you get your 9" in?

Yeah, got it in and fixed the pinion angle. I'm gonna try and hit the track on Wednesday so we'll see what kinda times I can get with street radials and the gears, lol

What gears are in it?
I assume you are going to see what it does with full throttle on street tires and than step it up with some ET Drags (or equivelant).

Yeah, that and I can't afford better tires right now, lol
I've got my Fuzions, which actually get tacky when you heat them up so that's nice. I figure in August or so I'll have the slicks and hit the track again
4.22's :D
