Does anyone know what adapter works with AKM cables. I just got a new laptop and , of course, it doesn't have a comm port. Andrew offers a replacement/trade-in + $30 + shipping.
I was hoping to find what I need from Radio Shack, Office Depot, etc. I know that some don't work and some do.
This is used on a 94 PCM using Tunercat.

If you have a PCI card slot, I have an adapter that I would part with.

Seems like I'm not going to need one for 6 months. I just got a short notice to deploy in 15 days. See y'all in 6 months.

Hate to her it man. When you get back I would highly suggest getting a pcmcia card. I found mine on the internet for $50 or so. USB is a very flaky technology, it's a pain in the ass on some stuff. Just make sure if yer running windows XP to d/l all the microsoft updates or yer puter won't communicate with the card. Took me a while to figure that one out.
