So what did the 3rdgen's weigh stock? More than 4thgens?
Wanting to get a feel for how much my 3rdgen weighed before I started the project.

Hmmm. So with no interior, no heat, no AC and an all alumnium engine I should be a couple 100 pounds lighter than stock. :D

my 87 formula with no ac and no emmissions equipment, with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas was 3440

My 89 Turbo TA weighed in at 3360. That had Lexan T-tops to make it a tad lighter :)

Mine is enigne and tranny delete right now so I am sure it is under 3000.

LOL @ Biff. I want to see Rally weighed Paul... I think you will be surprised at the weight.

With me, about a 1/4 tank of gas, and trunk emptied, 3490.

That's with AC, PS, PL, PW, 350/TH700, headers, etc.

No GFX.

I race at 3320 with me in the car, I still have most of the stock interior, just deleted the rear seats cause of cage. See SIG \/ !

9.33?!?!?! damn! i dont know what my car weighs but withour an interior, motor or tranny im sure it isnt much.

but...i hope it weighs a lot again SOON, im getting anxious

My 1LE weighed 3260 at the local truck scales with 1/2 tank of gas and without my fat @ss.

My 88 Iroc with the 350 tpi and auto combo, and every available option tips in at 3,440 with 3/4 tank of gas and no passengers.

My 97 Z-28 with 6-speed is a convertable, and tips the same scale at 3550 lbs. and no passengers. Hope that gives you some idea. Larry.
