if you are not running n2o or forced induction is it worth it to get a 160 degree thermostat. Wont you lose hp if your engine runs too cool, thats what i was told anyway. thanks

its been my understanding that you can have a bit more timing with the lower engine temps. the high temps that todays engins run is mainly for emissions reasons.

you were told wronge... 210 degrees that the factory has these things working at is too hot... 160 is good...

thanks alot guys, i dont have a very reliable lt1 guy in the area to talk to, at least not one ive met yet so u guys are great. o and sorry if i ask stupid questions im still a newb
