what caprice?

i have a 96 lt1 vette. am looking at a caprice i just dont know what good years are? this one has the 95mph speedo. but it is the v8 is that still an lt1? they want 1900 for it. ac dont work but other then that mechanically sound. but the pd here is selling a slightly newer one with the police package. any suggestions on what the horsepower difference is?

No, the base V8 is the L99, which is a 4.3L LT1 with iron heads.

it has the maf not like 93
obd1 not obd2 like 96

and make sure u get a 9c1 if u want the best...

I was looking at 95 caprices before I bought the Impala. The 9C1 package is the way to go but finding one in good shape can be difficult. I've driven both the L99 and LT1 and both are fast for a big car, but the LT1 kicks ass.
