What's up i have a 95 impala supersport and i just recently put a new exhaust on my car. My question is, are the flowmaster super 44 muffler the loudest and most powerful or not. The reason i asked is because i could have swore on the flowmaster web site that they said that the super 44 muffler is the most poweful and the loudest but the local flowmaster dealer in my area says that the regular 40 series is the loudest and most powerful if he super 44 is the loudest and most powerful im swapping out for the super 44's. Does anybody have any ideas?:LS1LT1flag:

i still wouldnt go the flowmaster route unless youre lookin for pure sound. there are many better flowing mufflers out there. but yes i believe the 40 series and the 44s are pretty close.

Yes i am lookin for a loud sound and the best performance as possible, so in your opinion which company has the best flowing muffler. i know i was lookin at some dyno max and magnaflo.:LS1LT1flag:

hahah i have magnaflow. i think they flow a little better than dynomaxes but i believe borla or corsa flow just a tad better (not a really noticeable difference). the only thing you have to decide is between the tones. magnaflow = deep and throaty, purrs. borla = deep but louder. corsa = louder. slp resonators = flow well and loud as HELL!!! damn do those things scream and roar. deep too. so if you can find SLP for your bbody id do that. unique too. are you doing a catback? or just puting in new "mufflers"? still have your cat?

I have the hooker aero chambers on 96 caprice. the clips can be heard if you look thru my other video's.
I bought 2 caprices that had flowmaster 40's, and was not impressed. one car was the stock exhaust, one was with a 2.5" system. It didn't sound bad, I just wasn't having it. I liked the Summit turbo mufflers I had on my fleetwood, better. with a 2.5" system. They even flow better than the flowmasters. Very deep, muscle car tone, and they got rather loud after about 6 months. when I put that exhaust on a different car with stock tail pipes, it was abit quiter.
Bigger pipes will make it louder, bigger tips make it louder yet, removing the cats makes it louder,(not sure how much, I did mine with headers at the same time) and headers really cleans the tone up, and makes it more crisp, and alot louder. :)
