I just bought a 95 iron head lt1 and unfortunately it has no accessories or brackets. only thing it has is crank pulley and water pump, no brackets for alt or a/c. I dont know much of anything about these engine since this is my first, but I know that there were different accessory layouts and such. I am putting the engine into an 83 Trans Am, so from what I've heard i want the corvette layout due to the a/c relocation.

does anyone know what brackets I need and where I can buy them? I could also post a wanted ad here too I guess, but need to know exactly what to ask for first.

thanks for the help

The LT1's have one giant bracket that bolts on front of the motor. The Vettes run down the drivers and the F-bodies run down the passenger side.

I'm trying to picture this, but I gues I dont see how 1 bracket could be used for the alt, a/c, and p.steering. Would it be possible to see a picture of it. maybe that would help.
