MAF question

if just the engine side of a maf was ported will it make a difference? as in-is it still considered "ported"?

no, you're still bottlenecking by keeping the "air filter side" unported. Trust me you're not maxing out your MAF's flow capacity (even if its still screened).

actually it was in reference to: i bought one off of e-bay that was supposedly stock and unported, well it wasnt, it was ported on the engine side. im more concerned with the tuning of the maf, thats why i wanted a stock untouched one. but ohh well, i dont think it will be a problem. thanks for the reply
