Curious if anyone plans on going to the Mile High Nationals this weekend. I'll be there, planning on all three days.

I'm going on Saturday with Boy Wonder. (19 years old) Not sure if we are taking his Iroc we built or my 97 Firehawk. Saturday only, section 5, West side

I don't have seats yet, need to do that when I get in tomorrow (just have credentials for now).

Friday should be interesting, since the forecast is for cooler weather than we've had for years. Saturday slightly warmer than Friday, Sunday slightly warmer than Saturday. No 100-degree stuff this time around.

Saturday afternoon kicked butt. The mid days sessions everyone in the nitro class was blowing off their tires, even way down track. But a rain delay cooled things off about 20 degrees... amazing second qualifying session on Saturday. Every pair that ran bumped somebody. 11 or 12 cars over 300 mph. Just kickin butt on every pass. Very cool

Nice looking TA. I love the late LT1 cars. Dad has my 97 Firehawk now. Bandimere's was ver cool. Seems like ancient history now. We are talking about looking for a house in Sterling CO. Longmont is getting too big for us.

AHh Yeah Sterling, about a 50 minute drive from home. Been there many times. I used to go up there with my 70' Ford f100 and go to the drive in movie theater that they have there
