I've read that 20hp per cylinder should be fine if the car is in good shape. Don't forget the other key components like fuel and air.

Yea you could run the 75 or 100 for sure, just make sure it's set up correctly, i.e., the computer is tuned for the nitrous. It is said a 125 shot is the most a stock motor should be subjected to, but many people have had decent luck with 150 and even 175 extra hp with very few or no problems. It's all in how you use it and how dialed in it is. Just be careful, or you could learn why nitrous has been given a bad name in the past.

I noticed when I went to 125 from 100 that the engine began to show KR from detonation. Without investigating I feel the carbon inside the 100k engine is the culprit. Pressure and heat start the stuff glowing and the 125 hp level is where it begins to happen. Just guessing though....

yea 125 is safer than the 150. but it always depends on how thew engine was treated.. i got my car at 130,000 and i kno it was driven by a nj prosecuter. hes was older and didnt driver crazy, and it saw regular service. sold at an auction at 100,000 the guy who bought it fro the auction drove it for 30,000 and he took good care.

i sprayed the shit outa that motor lots and alots of times 150 shot at least 10 times at the track, and at least 50 times on the streeet.. sprayed a 200 shot bout 4 times at the track and at least 15 times on the street.. stock fuel system can barley handle the 200 shot but the motor lasted...

now, i may be lucky. but i kno alot of impala guys who spray the hell outa fresh stock bore, pistons rods and crank. they dont have to many problems
i pulled the motor before it blew, to put forged internals in it and get ready for boost.

I want to run a 100 shot but i would really like to get 100 rwhp gains...I am guessing the dry shot will net 80 rwhp with the 100 shot jet..

I had a ZEX 75 dry shot on a car and it dropped me .8 tenths in the 1/4. That's at LEAST 75hp. Don't know how it worked. Maybe it got rid of some knock issues and added power on top of that? It was a blown Grand Prix.

i wonder what the diff really is with jet size and such on each n20 company. Seems people say tnt hp gains are rwhp, and nos, zex, ect. only rate the jet hp not the actual rwhp...weird to me.
