so i was cruising back to my ship from Quizno's, and i see a big f150 moving in and out of traffic with a bike behind him. i slow a little and move over from the left lane into the middle lane and slow to about 70 or so. the bike is coming close to me and i look back at him and smile. then i dropped it in 2nd and hit it. he dropped down two gears, but thats all. i went through 2nd and all the way into 4th and he never came back until i slowed down. he asked if i had nitrous and i said no, then he asked if i had a supercharger, and i said no. he told me 'that shit is fast, yo' (he was a built black guy with a chrome brain-bucket).

a guy on my ship has a 05 busa and said he could take 2nd to about 60 or so...and i assume this guy was in 6th and dropped it down one or two gears, but thats all...when he couldve actually dropped down 3 or maybe 4.

once he came back up, i saw the gsxr on the front, and then i saw 1300 on the back...i looked just like this --> :eek:

good time, even though he couldve murdered me. :streetrac

ya racing bikes is fun except for busas lol ... cause i can keep up with 600's but those busa's are monsters they trap almost 150 stock .. always funny to see the look on the guys faces

Yeah bike guys think they can trake anyone. I was heading out one day on the freeway and this bike came from behind, got in front of me and hit it, I dropped to 3rd and kept up. I have never seen a rider look back at 100 while comming up on traffic before. I think it was an R6. He was wearing a bucket too but I am sure his face was like :eek:

600 cc motor cyclcles .... thats one of the common sizes for thm there not as quick as there big brothers the 1000 CC's those are pretty much unbeatble with a car

Oh, I know what you were talking about, however, with your very short mod list you shouldn't be coming anywhere CLOSE to hanging with a newer 600...

I agree, I don't mean to dis your car, but a 600cc bike should still do mid 10's in a 1/4 if they know how to drive a bike

My brothers 750 GSX-r in race trim ran a 10.6 with me behind the bars. I was scared shitless on top of that.

IIRC when they were doing the shootout betwen the non-turbo 'busa and the blackbird, the 'busa was in the 9s and the blackbird got down to that doorstep.The turbo'd ones... two words... Too fast. Scary fast. One of the few bikes you move out to pass first before twisting the throttle to pass.

As an aside, the ZX-6R was in the 10s in '99 -stock. http://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mccompare/top600s.html

600 running tens? havent seen that... hell i seen guys on busa's only able to run mid 10's.... it all depends on the brass of the guy riding ;)
not everyone has the nuts to drive 9's on a bike

My buddy has a very lightly modded CBR 600f4i and he ran a 10.54.

It takes a good rider, but I've seen/heard of people hitting mid-high tens.

Either way, they should be able to annihilate any bottom 13-high 12 second car, such as the camaro said to be "keeping up with 600's" Damn crotch rockets!
