I'm just curious how it works because I thought where in the powerband you peaked was important also :scratch

It is pretty accurate though. Gave me a 12.6 which is what I calculated I'd run with decent 60's (can't wait to try and knock those down again this weekend!) :D

Its only a tool to play with. Powerband does affect it some. Its likely more accurate to calculate trap speed.

Another thing to look at is ET*MPH. Usually they sum to roughly 1350.
i.e. 15.0*90=1350
13.5*100=1350

A higher number indicates a setup with inadequate traction.

Thats not that accurate. For us Auto guys I dont see how it would take into account a bigger or gears. Im only @ 331hp but Im in the 12.6-12.7 range. BAIN in MTFBA is only @ 380 hp but he's in the 11.1's with that bigass stall.

Just over a full second off my times. "Pro Turd version 3.3" made a whopping 203 RWHP on a mustang dyno. It scaled in at 3180 with me in the car and it runs 8.3's in the 1/8 and 13.2's in the 1/4.

The old beater doesn't make any power but it beats up on stock LS1 cars!

I got anywhere from 13.7 to 13.45 using my 350HP Flywheel,or 280HP dyno #'s and a 3720lb race weight.
