I got my 9" rear with a 4.11 and a full spool installed and took it to the track, made about 3 passes on the motor and was about 2 tenths slower, then I made a nitrous pass and we had the best pass we ever ran 1.79 60' 7.65@91mph 1/8 .0045 RT As I was heading for the time slip the car was missing. It would not Idle, I limped home and decided that the fuel pump was bad. I installed a new 255LPM pump and no change. It will run if I keep gassing it, all cylinders are firing, I am getting fuel through the fuel filter. When I depress the Schrader valve where you would attach a fuel pressure Gage I don't get any fuel. I am at a dead end. Please help.
This may sound like a dumb question since your not getting any fuel to the shrader valve..but ahahah have you checked the fuel pressure...ahaha :roflmao: i'm sorry...really. I'm trying to figure out if there might be a hole in the gas lines or something. Park the car on a clean concrete pad and let her run. See if any drips occur or something :dontknow:

It might be sucking air to. Are you getting any pressure right after you prime the system.

I have the car on a lift and there is no leakage, I have an ac gauge on the schrader valve and only showed 11 pounds so that is why I put a new pump in. Now I show 0 pressure but the car starts but but barely runs.

Can you hear the pump priming? How did you sucure the pump to the line? Any info you can provide will really help.

I removed the fuel filter and turned the key, gas squirted, but when I depress the schrader valve with the key on, nothing. I did a visual from the fuel filter to yhe fuel rail, don't see any problems.

Yes I can hear the pump for 3 or 4 seconds when I turn the key on. As for the fuel line I heated the line and slipped one end on and used the supplied clamp on the other.

I found the cause the EGR valve on the back of the intake was about ready to fall off, I guess I didn't tighten it properly when I had the motor apart.
