Do any of you guys (or girls) have problems getting the black center peice that runs between your t-tops to shine up? Mine is faded pretty bad and I can'nt get it to shine up at all. Went to the dealer to see about ordering a new one and they want $135.00 for it . I've tried waxing it and that does'nt help, but thought maybe some you have had the same problem. Any thoughts on what to do?

The middle black peice and the black triangles on the b-pillar above the door on my car were terrible. Friend of mine and I used some of mothers Back-To-Black. Looked like brand new again.

Really? I'll try that. Never even thought about using back to black on those (thought they were painted).

something else that may work is Mothers Plastic Polish. it worked great on my taillights and rear center section on the bird. they weren't in bad shape though.

Another product you might want to try is something called "Safe Cut", it's distributed by the Wax Shop. That stuff is awesome, it even removes fine scraches from your gauge cluster. I have had excellent results with it, Back To Black is mainly for rubber and plastic trim pieces.
