View Full Version : airbox lid ?

i got the slp lid used for my 2000 WS6 and i didnt get the adapter piece to make the tube thing fit right im guessing its just som sort of breather or somthing. well any way it dosent fit quite right. is the right thing to do is plug the elbow from the lid and put a breather filter on the end of the hose?

You probably could. Do you still have your EGR and/or AIR system?

yea i think so. i didnt do anything else when i bought the car. just the lid.

my lid didnt come with a hole to put the hose in cause its a 2000 i just put a breather filter on it and it works fine

yup pepboys breather filter, till you delete the AIR system ... then pull the whole thing out :D

Hell, I think I have an extra breather from when I yanked out my AIR system. Lemme check. If it's there you can have it.
