The AC Delcos will last about 80 thousand miles...why not stick with what works?

Plain old copper ngk tr55.

For a nitrous, or blown app maybe...but on a stock motor I don't see why you shouldn't just go with stock plugs.

A lot of what I've heard about the Bosch Platinum's have been a lot of bad. I'll be changing my plugs soon with some Delco's, though

TR55 on a nitrous app!?! TR6's are way superior for that. TR55s is best  I've got AC Delco Platinum in the Camaro, TR55's in the TA.

The bosch +4s will impede your flame front in this application. Cut back plain jane plugs are what I typically use, except in the SHO.

My bad, I had TR6s on the brain, but my point is on a stock car stock plugs work great.

It's not different plugs will gain you any measurable horse power increase over stock ones...and stock ones last forever, so why not just use those?

I switched in some TR6s for my Autolite 104s on my nitrous motor, I figured the TR6s would be the better plug..well they missed like crazy and didn't work right on my motor at all. The TR6 is a great plug, but just didn't like my motor...so I should had jsut stayed with what I knew worked on my motor.

How much were you spraying? That's a bit of a cold plug for most apps. Also, gap is key on those guys.

I'm not a big fan of iridiums because of the way the harder metals hold heat in the CC

Thats what I heard about my iridiums after I got them. I was really just hoping that they'd last a long time.

AC Deco Irridiums here. No probs and even run a little better in the low rpm ranges than my NGK Irridiums.

i use bosch 4s on NA LT1 w/ 90k no problems performance good u get what u pay for (except when u crack 1) as for backfire downshift should be normal on high compression engines, especially LT1s pig rich tune

honestly i had bosch platnum 4's in my lt1 z and when i put em in over the ngk's it sounded a little nastier on my exhaust. it sounded like it was more aggressive. all in all i didnt notice any performance changes. just thought i would throw in my two cents
