Ill be getting my Cold Fusion nitrous kit pretty soon and out of anxiety i already made a diagram of the electrical hookup:screwy: but im not sure exactly where to place all the switches (FPSS, Window switch, micro). please check my diagram to see if i did it right;) also, will one relay be enough for the current, or should i hook up two?

I don't know that much about nitrous but I can tell you right now that it's wrong electrically. The whole point of a fuse is a breakpoint from power in case the current gets too high. You have a 12V hooked up outside of the fuse. Move the fuse to just after the other 12V and before the master switch. Now, if you could help me out, what does the tb micro do? FPSS? I'm assuming the later has something to do with a fuel safety switch. Thanks, hope I helped.

so should i just put a fuse on both of the constant 12 v? i dont know a lot about relays but from which wire do the solenoids draw their power? im assuming thats where the fise goes. the micro switch attaches to the throttle body and closes the ground wire only at WOT and yes, the other is a fuel press safety switch. thanks 4 the help!

Are you sure it has two power lines? I can't see how that would be necessary or even beneficial. It would just bypass the fuse or all the switches, depending on which you use. The fuse should go after the left 12V, in my opinion. Again, I don't know much about nitrous but I do know a bit about wiring. I'm sure it'll be in the instructions anyway :) Hope this helped

Your diagram is fine, just change the 12V constant on the lefty to 12V switched. That way when you shut the car off, everything turns off. Add another wire, Your arming switch should also power up your window switch.

860 ill change the 12V with the arming switch to switched 12V. my window switch is intergrated with my ignition (mallory hyfire 6) so it turns on when the ignition is switched. should i still add a switch in between there?

also, 860, where is the best place to mount the relay? inside the car or under the hood?
sorry that im askin so much its just that i wanna do it right the first time around.

Most people put the relay under-hood vs. inside the car just for convienence.
Just mount it in a place that won't see direct water. They dont last forever though, usually after a few years of daily driving they get coroded and need replacing.

Your window switch is fine if its part of your ignition system.
Good luck

i think it wont be too hard to find a good, dry spot for the relay under the hood. i think im pretty much ready to install this thing this weekend. now i just gotta figure out how ill level the bottle between the rear seats;)

thanks for all the help, u guys rock! :LS1LT1flag:
