Talking Junkyard Miracle!

So Today was the first Saturday that me and my pops had off of work in a long time so what better way to spend it then with a trip to the junkyard

We were walking around not really looking for anything in particular for my trans am or his jeep when we come across a camaro that was t-boned pretty badly but what the hell. We open the doors, and to our surprise, it had all of its seats in real good conditions. My T/A seats are leather and are in pretty bad shape, these were cloth and living in Miami, my leather seats here tend to get frying pan hot, so I would actually rather have cloth seats. They have no rips, and just need a good cleaning. So me and my pops start unscrewing them and decide to take em for my T/A .
I go up to pay, and on the price sheet it says that the 2 fronts are $40 each and the rears $30. I flash $60 in the guys face and im out the door with a new set of seats. These are in great shape, and they are the two toned grey which is perfect because im in the middle of converting my tan interior to black and grey. Here are a few shots.

Yeah I mean the leather looks good, but its so hard for it not to crack, or to find a T/A with perfect leather. The cloth looks great. Ill take pictures of it in my T/A tomorrow and post them.

Yeah, it was definitely one of the rare lucky days in a miami junk yard, because normally, I find nothing down here, usually have to drive a little North to find good stuff.

When they were doing the cash for clunkers a couple of years ago, I was marvaling at some of the cars that got turned in. I got a fine crop of like new parts the quality I haven't seen since in the local yards.
