Urgent 94 z28 wont stay running

Hi everyone im new here an ive been having a few problems. I bought this car a few months ago with a bad fuel pump. Replaced it an car ran fine, then it started to take a long time to start an it would cut off on its on without warning sometimes. Now it will run for about 5 mins an cut off an not start for hours. Mods are cc 503 cam kit minor head work, 1.6 rr, lt4 knock sen, full length headers an pcm tune. Something I just seen was that the driver side header burned through a big wire an idk what it is. Any imput wpuld be appreciated

we'll tell you what that wire does, if you tell us what color it is, and what kind of plug is on the end.. that might be important..

Might want to download the 94 service manual in this section. It has all the wiring, and a driveability section with all engine controls.

Explained it to a mechanic an he said it was for the cruise controle. The idle steady rises slowly to top out about at 2200 rpm by itself then it sits there for a couple of seconds an just dies
