help putting ls1 in 1997
i am going to take my lt1 out and replace with ls1 383. i heard it is a lot eiser to remove lt1 from bottom. my main question is it eaiser to put the ls1 in from bottom or top? i already have k member for the ls1. i am doing the ls1 carbeurated. thanks for help

It's the same with either engine. I've pulled many and if you have the provisions going through the bottom is the easiest.

Are there any hidden suprises when dropping one out?? I'm fixing to drop one myself

Not really, just make sure everything is disconnected and if you care about saving the oil pressure switch remove that first because a lot of time it gets busted.

what mystery bird said make sure everything is unhooked i did mine n 3 hrs with a bum shoulder really not that bad
