can anyone give me the name of this thing so I can start hunting down a new pigtail and clip for it??

Here is a tip: Sprinkle a bit of Cayenne (Red) pepper a few places around the top of your engine. I will keep the rodents away.

Go to this url then select LT1.. They call it a 'Charcoal Canister Purge Pigtail' , EVAP is the official name EFI Connection, LLC - GM Connector Pigtail Assemblies Third row second from left..
